Passing Kidney Stones Without Hospitalization

Find a way to supplement your diet with magnesium. Try to add 350mg of magnesium to your diet daily. This treatment has been found to eliminate kidney stones in some patients. It is also a good idea to avoid snacks and foods high in sugar content. This includes sugary soft drinks and juices. Sugar has long been associated with the formation of kidney stones and should be avoided until your kidney stone passes. It is highly recommended that you eat only natural sugars, such as those that occur naturally in fruits.

Drink vegetable and fruit juice in addition to water. Include carrot, grape, and orange juice in your diet. These fruit and vegetable juices contain high levels of citrates. Citrates help reduce the buildup of uric acid and calcium salts in your kidneys. Including citrates in your diet will, thus, help eliminate the cause of kidney stones.

Additionally, you need to eat foods that are high in chlorophyll. Vegetables such as asparagus, wheat grass, and fresh parsley contain high levels of chlorophyll. These veggies have been show to help cleanse the kidneys and eliminate kidney stones.
