It might be hard to believe, but there are more than 90% of humans who are or will be infected with parasites at some point in their lives. Most people who have parasites don't realize that they have them, and until parasitic infection reaches a critical level, won't know; instead, they carry out their daily lives as usual. There are many different types of parasites we can be infected with, but the most common are discussed in this article.
Parasites are everywhere! For example, they often begin their cycle in nasty places, such as in fecal matter. They then find their way onto pets, then it's not long before they are in your carpets, and with very little warning they have found their way into your body. Once they travel here they can happily remain undetected for years! It's an unpleasant thought to realize that whilst we sleep they are still wriggling away inside!
In fact, over 90% of the world's people are struggling with parasites, struggling with nutrient deficiency and on lack of energy because parasites in fact do rob us of these things. Most of us would be flummoxed to find out that over 1000 different types of parasites exist, all of which can infect us as human beings. And it's even more disturbing that only about 1% of these parasites show up in regular stool analysis that is done through conventional testing.
Be that as it may, the most common parasites that you will come up against are Giardia, Hookworms, Flukes, Pinworms, Roundworms and Tapeworms. Each Parasite is disturbing in their own right. If you suspect that you have been infected then read on for symptoms.
Roundworms: the World Health Organization has shockingly reported that over one quarter of the globe's population has been infected with roundworms. That's about one billion people who have this parasite at any given time. Roundworms can grow up to be a 15 inches long, with any intestine, and they can lay more than 300,000 eggs within a day. Their reproductive cycle is very fast, which means that within two months, they can begin to lay eggs. However, it's fortunate that they're very sensitive to worming medications that are easily available, although worms that are over 10 inches long can be more difficult to get rid of. It may be necessary to have surgery to get rid of them entirely, followed by nutritional support to replace nutrients that have of course been depleted in these situations.
Pinworms: Pinworms are pretty reproductively savvy as well, with over 500,000 people worldwide infected. Pinworms can give you very intense itching around your anus at night. This is the first stage, and if you're itching this way, you've probably had them for a few months. After you fall asleep, pinworms usually sneak out of your anus and lay their eggs on the skin directly surrounding your anus.
To confirm a pinworm infestation the stools need to be inspected with a torch. If they are there, they will be glowing and be roughly one third of an inch long. One way to confirm their presence is to place a strip of tape on the tissue surrounding the anus and then remove it to examine it for worms or eggs. Pinworms are enormously contagious and can spread throughout a household very quickly. Make sure fingernails are kept short so as to minimize contamination whilst scratching when asleep, and shower at least once per day, as well as keeping your clothing, bed sheets, and carpet as clean as possible.
Giardia: Giardia is a common parasite that's found in water. It resists chlorine and can survive in cold water for up to two months. It has a hard outer shell, which makes it more difficult to killed than other parasites.
This infection most often comes from hot tubs, swimming pools, ponds and rivers, or lakes. Symptoms take about a week to appear, including nausea, gas, diarrhoea, and stools that appear "greasy." Furoxone is the name of the drug that is most often prescribed to cure giardia.
Hookworms: Hookworms can appear very nasty indeed. They usually enter through your skin, either through your feet or other areas, and then use your bloodstream to get to your intestines and lungs. You may be red or itchy where the newly hatched larvae have entered through your skin, and after infestation you may have a dry cough, wheezing, and sputum with blood in it. If they enter your intestine, you will lose your appetite, you may have profound abdominal pain, and you'll usually have significant bouts of diarrhoea.
Flukes: Flukes oppose the second-largest danger to society after malaria. The World Health Organization has been attempting to eradicate or at least control flukes in developing countries for years and years. Flukes "live" in blood vessels, and pass eggs on through urine and faeces.
Over 200 million people are infected with Fluke, and symptoms include chills, fever, and sometimes a cough. The body tends to have a major problem with the eggs and not so much the worms themselves. Repeated infection can lead to liver, lungs, bladder and intestine damage.
Tapeworms: This is where it gets interesting, as these guys can grow to a length of over 20 feet long! If you suspect that you are infected with one make sure that you keep an eye on your stool, as pieces tend to break off them from time to time. As long as the head remains embedded in the intestinal tissue, the worm will continue to grow. The most common mode of infection is through the consumption of cattle - so cook your meat well!
In closing, parasites are everywhere. We are talking kids, dogs, cats and adults. There are many precautionary things one can do such as washing your hands, being careful with the water you drink, and cooking your food.
If you are looking to prevent their return, we would suggest you maintain a preventative dose of Miracle Mineral Supplement, which is effectively a solution of chlorine dioxide, and has been proven to be an enormously powerful tool against eliminating pathogens from the body - especially parasites!
