Stop The Rage, Quit Drinking

By Ed Philips

Hundreds of medical studies prove that alcohol consumption changes the way we act; when we are sober we use a rational thought process when reacting to situations yet when we are under the influence of alcohol rational thinking goes out the window. Understandably not everyone is affected by alcohol in the same way, even though it does affect everyone's brain chemistry.

If you find that you become angry when you have been drinking and lack the ability or desire to control your temper when you are drunk then you should seek help for what has become known as alcohol rage.

It has been revealed that the more alcohol that is consumed, the more vulnerable the situation will become, and that there is not a lot of time to lose before the behaviour pattern turns to aggression and physical violence.

Daily we see news accounts of domestic violence that turns deadly. More often than not alcohol has played a part in provoking the anger and aggression that turns fatal. For women and children who live with a person who experiences rage when drinking fearing for their lives becomes a daily experience.

While these are some of the more severe instances of alcohol rage they are obviously important to acknowledge. More often than not alcohol is one of the ingredients in the destruction of families since the alcoholic disregards the needs of the family because of their need to drink.

Fear is not what creates bonding within a family and should be eradicated immediately. If you either feel that your alcohol habit needs sorting out fast if you suspect that somebody you personally know does, then don't waste timing in seeking immediate online support for alcohol related problems.

Stop Drinking Advice has a vast network of online support and can help you or your loved one who is experiencing alcoholism or problems associated with drinking quit drinking once and for all.
