Have You Tried Natural Hemorrhoid Treatments?

By Holly Hayden

Today, I wanted to alert you to something will afflict 40% of the adult population (or more) at some point of their lives. It's called hemorrhoids or piles and it's basically any form of vein inflammation around the lower rectal regions.

Symptoms include itching in your rectal area, bloody toilet paper, and pain during bowel movements. These signs point to the likely hood that you have hemorrhoids which is no laughing matter - because they are annoying and embarrassing.

Unfortunately severe cases exist where the hemorrhoids protrude like a lump outside your bottom. I'm going to list three common mistakes people make that contribute to the development of hemorrhoids. Whether you currently have piles or not, if you avoid these three mistakes, you will either prevent or relieve hemorrhoids.

Mistake #1: Eating too much processed food

Many people have a hard time with this, but it is a well known fact that processed foods and sugars lead to harder stools and digestive troubles. This then leads to constipation and other issues that cause hemorrhoids. In the case where you are suffering and wanting to cure hemorrhoids it is key to lower your intake of processed sugars and foods.

Mistake #2: Sedentary lifestyle

Long periods of sitting create pressure on the rectal area which promotes the perfect environment for hemorrhoids to occur. Especially when combined with forces such as pregnancy in women or constipation. Make sure you don't sit for over an hour at a time interspersed by stretches that promote healthy blood flow.

Mistake #3: Intake of processed medication and creams

This creates the same potential problem as processed foods. Even many of the fiber supplements contain processed and artificial elements that can create side-effects elsewhere and lastly they are not even attacking the root of the problem here.

The other downside of these creams which do no benefit is that they waste one's time and the hemorrhoid can get worse over time if the root problem is not reversed.

So try to avoid these 3 mistakes and you will not be contributing to any worsening of hemorrhoids. It's very important to understand these in our modern lifestyle of sedentary office work and processed, convenient diets.
