Curing Yeast Infections

By Jude Mayweather

Vaginitis or the inflammation of the vagina is a common occurrence among women.

It is so popular that most women are expected to get infected with the disease at least once in their life. You get yeast infections from the colonization and invasion of Candida albicans in your private area. This usually happens when your normal flora fail to inhibit the growth of other pathogens.

You do not have to worry though, yeast infections are not a sexually transmitted disease. The signs and symptoms are rather annoying however. You will feel an itching and burning sensation in your vaginal area.

You can notice your vulva becoming swollen and you will also be excreting white discharges. Vaginal contraceptives and feminine washes increase ones likelihood of getting a yeast infection.

One thing that you should be lucky about is the fact that yeast infections are readily cured. The only thing you need is a natural cure for yeast infection. Some solutions can be a real delight to be doing like eating natural yogurt. What we do not know is that natural yogurt contains live cultures that inhibit pathogens from developing within the area.

Another method that you can try is to bathe yourself or dab on your private area a diluted solution of apple cider. Stay away from solutions that are too concentrated. Your solution should only just contain 25% of apple cider. The reason for this is when the solution becomes acidic, it can burn and irritate your skin. You only want the solution to be acidic enough to discourage growth of pathogens.

Another wonder when it came to yeast infections is garlic. You can eat a few cloves every day to help reduce the level of infection. If that isnt effective you can try inserting a few pieces of the garlic inside your vagina to speed up the healing process.

Yeast infections are very preventable. You can make sure that you no longer get those pesky yeast infections just by drinking cranberry juice.

The cranberry juice can reduce the adherence of bacteria on the vaginal walls to make it easier to get rid of them.
