Herbs which are used to treat acne, targets the liver because this is the organ that cleans up the problems of our hormones. The natural methods are safer because they do not contain the harsh chemicals which many of the over the counter skin products have. In addition many of the over the counter products do not tell you that in order for them to work you must use them constantly.

The body seems to respond best when using a natural substance. Let's take a look at some natural remedies that can help you obtain the skin you always wanted

Lavender

Lavender is especially helpful in reducing redness and soothing the skin. Lavender oil is excellent as a preventative acne treatment. Use lavender essential oil, dilute 1:10 with water, rosewater or witch hazel. Apply it to freshly cleansed skin with a cotton ball to affected area.

Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil is one of the most effective natural methods that you can use to treat skin conditions. Such as cold sores, large inflamed spots, rash and of course acne. To use this natural method just mix the tea tree oil, with diluted 1:10 water, rosewater or witch hazel. Then apply it to the cleansed skin.

Calendula

Ingrain calendula with boiling water. The standard infusion can be prepared by adding 1 to 2 teaspoons of the dried herb and (or 2 to 4 teaspoons of fresh herb) the fresh herb requires double. These ingredients must be added to a cup of boiling water. Allow this infusing to last for 10 minutes before straining. Then apply with a cotton ball to washed skin and allow to remain for 10-15 minutes and then rinse.
